As for recession proof investments, you might laugh but being a bit of a prepper , I say farmland, SEEDS, and livestock , not traditional investing , on that I like coal , I wont share the ticker :) but people cant eat gold, silver etc, I also went a non convetional route and have gems in VAST quantity as they are dating back before all money as trade goods.
So when I am offered a gold coin for my chickens ... I will hesitate as I cant eat the gold !
